Tod Olsen​

Tod Olsen serves as Chief Technology Officer of VisualVault, a SaaS company specializing in Business Process Automation and Enterprise Content Management. In this role he has held since 2016 — Tod oversees all aspects of product architecture, engineering, and technology strategy, guiding VisualVault’s platform to serve enterprise clients across government, healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, and other data-intensive industries.

At VisualVault, Tod has been at the forefront of embedding artificial intelligence into the platform’s core capabilities. He is a recognized expert in Intelligent Document Processing — encompassing AI-driven document classification, extraction of structured data from unstructured sources, intelligent form processing, and natural-language querying of document repositories. Tod has spoken publicly on these topics through industry webinars, including sessions hosted in partnership with Carahsoft and ARMA, where he has articulated the transformative impact of auto-classification and AI-based extraction on enterprise records management.

Beyond document intelligence, Tod is deeply invested in the design of purposeful AI agents — systems built not to showcase technology for its own sake, but to deliver real, measurable value in enterprise environments.

Under Tod’s technical leadership, VisualVault has launched industry-leading technology, and expanded its platform’s compliance posture — including oversight of cybersecurity initiatives and web accessibility commitments.

Tod holds an IT/Software Engineering degree and is based in Tempe, Arizona.
