Portal Tabs




Portal Tabs is a place where administrators can design the layouts of different portal tabs for different purposes. These tabs can then be assigned to one or many portals. Using this screen is preliminary to laying out a portal tab with modules. This screen allows you to create and remove portals as well as change the number of columns for the portal tab.  Be cautious in changing the number of columns after a tab has been organized.

Adding a Portal Tab

To add a new Portal Tab, complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Portal Admin and the Portal Tabs tab.

  2. Select the New Portal Tab button.

  3. Key in the name of the portal tab.

  4. Select the number of columns that should appear on the portal tab.

  5. Select Add Portal Tab.

Editing a Portal Tab

To edit a Portal Tab, complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Portal Admin and the Portal Tabs tab.

  2. Select the name of the portal in the Tab Name column.

  3. Change the name or portal type.

  4. Select Update Portal Tab.

Removing a Portal Tab

To remove a Portal Tab, complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Portal Admin and the Portal Tabs tab.

  2. Select the check box to the left of the portal tab.

  3. Select the Delete button.
