Layout Designer

The Layout Designer is the location where you can layout each possible portal with appropriate controls and configurations for tabs. From this screen you can create new portal tabs, create new modules or assign modules to the current portal. The following sections will help you to use the Layout Designer.

Before laying out a Portal, you need to create a portal on the Portal Tabs tab or select New Portal Tab on the Layout Designer screen. By default there are a specific set of modules already registered for use within VisualVault. If you have any custom built modules that you want to assign to a portal, that module needs to be registered before hand.
