August 2006 VisualVault supports the 2006 Brazilian Electoral Process
MESA, AZ August, 2006 - VisualVault was selected by Probank SA to support their contract to provide IT services for the upcoming federal elections in Brazil. Brazil is a recognized world leader in electronic elections, having developed voting machines in 1996, and having the world's first fully electronic election in 2000. Probank has been the leading IT services provider since 2004.
As a precursor to the elections, VisualVault was used to automate document collection from 14,000 election workers. VisualVault was an obvious choice due to the web based architecture and ease of deployment. In 48 hours, a VisualVault solution was established for multiple locations across Brazil's 26 estados (states). Additional activities are planned.
