April 2007 Auersoft Releases VisualVault v2.7
PHOENIX, AZ April, 2007 - Auersoft, is pleased to announce a significant VisualVault release, version 2.7.
Version 2.7 brings together improvements in workflow, capture tools and custom configuration for information kiosks and portals. Client input was a major driving force for the product enhancements.
Workflow improvements include the assignment of workflow tasks to groups, and the implementation of conditional workflow. Keeping with the philosophy of distributed ownership, conditional workflow can be configured by non-IT professionals. Business rules can be mapped easily and quickly using the workflow editor tool and can be applied to either documents or forms.
V-Products now span the full range of capture processes: Email, Fax, FTP, Scanners and storage locations. The use of third-party tools allows for OCR, zone OCR and conversion services. V-Products map to content to folders in VisualVault and will map metadata to custom index fields. The use of folder enabled workflow ensures that all content can be custom routed in support of business processes.
Administrators can take advantage of custom pages, web links and menu configuration to deploy VisualVault content on a portal basis. Menus are security enabled, as are each of the controls that can be deployed on the custom pages.
