V-Scan automates the flow of documents from scanning drop off points,  watched folders, ftp upload sites, etc. into a remote VisualVault repository.

Once these documents are captured, business processes may be initiated using dynamic, conditional workflow routing.

V-Scan has the following capabilities:

• Automatically place documents into VisualVault from a Network Share.
• Utilize conditional workflow routing within VisualVault to automatically notify employees of new document related taks.
• Mass import documents from a folder or network share.
• Upload documents to different folders based on meta-data.
• Assign business process tasks based upon captured metadata fields.
• Integrates with Kofax Ascent Capture or IRIS Capture Pro for Invoices (automated invoice capture and routing).
• Use CSV files to relate metadata to documents during a mass import.
• Import documents and meta-data exported by other applications.
